The Philadelphia School

The Philadelphia School is an urban, preschool–8th grade school, focused on addressing specifically how young students develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Through their commitment to diversity, they seek to nurture each student’s moral compass, sense of personal integrity, and respect for individuality. Learning in the city, country, and classroom affirms the school’s founders’ goal of educating children to become responsible and active stewards of the urban and natural environments.

The Philadelphia School (Phila. PA) wanted a refresh of their bi-annual magazine for members of the community and parents. They underwent a massive rebrand and had not established a new magazine cycle. The challenge was to create print publications that felt engaging, trustworthy, and experiential. I worked alongside J2 Agency to bring school years and personal stories to life in between pages.
